Moving your pet overseas involves a lot more than booking an airfare. Every country has its own vet requirements, vaccinations, permits, and paperwork — and some of these have strict time frames that can’t be rushed. The earlier you get in touch, the smoother the process.
We offer a fully managed door-to-door service, or if you’d prefer to handle parts yourself to keep costs down, we can work alongside you. Either way, you’ll receive personalised, one-on-one attention throughout. Services include:
- Destination-specific vet treatment & documentation guidance
- IATA-approved travel crates (supplied for you to keep)
- Residence pick-up and airport drop-off
- Pre-flight boarding in a home environment
- Flight bookings via registered pet exporters
- Full export paperwork and MPI compliance

About Elite Pet Services
In 2006 I returned to New Zealand after extensive overseas travel, mainly working with race horses. For the past 19 years I have combined my love of travel and animals working in the pet transport industry. I realized during this time that like myself, most people love their pets like children and appreciate that extra care and service that I am willing to provide.
Having travelled my own dog internationally, I also understand the anxiety involved with moving your pets from country to country — so I can offer support and my own experience.
I have moved hundreds of pets to every continent in the world, so feel free to ask any questions.
Based in Franklin, I can easily access the Auckland and Waikato area.
